I was a bit determinant that I would never see the new Bangalore Airport. However situation forced me to Travel. This is the first time I am using the new airport. I was a bit cautious not to miss the flight and hence started very early in the morning. Oops.. I missed the bus from EC to airport by a minute. Afraid of missing the flight I took an auto to Silk Board from where I expected some frequent buses to the new airport. Nothing turned up for 15mins. Finally an Autowala ventured to take to me the Airport directly by Auto. After the Saudi accident I was determinant not to take any venture on road. However time compelled and here I go to the airport in Auto. Probably I was the only one who reached there by Auto.
I was holding a Jet Upgrade card that was valid till May. I did give a try and yes I got to travel in premiere class. As I was about to board the flight I met a girl probably of my age discussing current affairs in business to some senior people. I was so impressed and I could see a JP Gold Member tag on her Laptop bag. All my determination not to travel went to pieces. I need to work twice as much and travel even more to reach her level of competency. My survival instinct pricks me.
At the airport I couldn’t resist the Book shop. I was deeply against Self Improvement books. I strongly believed nobody can advice you how to live and how to grow up in life. For a change I thought ki why don’t I try some book. I bought a book on leadership wisdom. Wow it was a total bagwaas book. Too many stories and in total the book was of very low standard. The author speaks of aligning employees pay check to purpose. I donno why he named his company on his name?? These management gurus are really stupid.. Ofcourse there are people to follow them Blindly..
Rain welcomes me on Kolkata airport. I am in a hurry to reach site…
